From January to October, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 5.485 million and 5.28 million respectively, with a year-on-year increase of 1.1 times and a market share of 24%. Based on the historical development trend of the new energy vehicle market, the annual sales of new energy will reach 6.7 million vehicles.

For the first time, the China Automobile Association announced the performance of the new energy vehicle market segment (classified by vehicle type). One of the notable points is that the A-class new energy vehicles have obvious strength and rapid growth. According to the data, from January to October, the sales of new energy passenger cars at all levels increased in different degrees year-on-year. Although A0 had the biggest increase, the current sales were mainly concentrated in Class A, and the cumulative sales of this class of vehicles had reached 1.84 million, up by 164.2% year-on-year. Automobile exports of enterprises hit a record high. From January to October, automobile enterprises exported 2.456 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 54.1%. From January to October, the cumulative output of power batteries in China was 425.9GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 166.5%. Among them, the cumulative output of ternary batteries is 171.4GWh, accounting for 40.2% of the total output, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 137.9%; The cumulative output of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 254.2GWh, accounting for 59.7% of the total output, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 190.4%.

Loading capacity: In October, the loading capacity of power batteries in China was 30.5GWh, up by 98.1% year on year and down by 3.5% month on month. Among them, the loading capacity of ternary batteries is 10.8GWh, accounting for 35.4% of the total loading capacity, up by 55.2% year on year and down by 3.5% month on month. The loading capacity of lithium iron phosphate battery was 19.7GWh, accounting for 64.4% of the total loading capacity, up by 133.2% year on year and down by 3.6% month on month.

From January to October, the cumulative loading capacity of power batteries in China was 224.2GWh, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 108.7%. Among them, the cumulative loading capacity of ternary batteries is 88.0GWh, accounting for 39.2% of the total loading capacity, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 62.8%; The cumulative loading capacity of lithium iron phosphate batteries is 136.0GWh, accounting for 60.6% of the total loading capacity, with a cumulative year-on-year increase of 155.6%, showing a rapid growth momentum.

In October, a total of 40 power battery enterprises in China's new energy vehicle market realized loading facilities, an increase of one over the same period of last year. The loading capacity of power batteries in the top 3, 5 and 10 power battery enterprises is 24.6GWh, 26.6GWh and 29.1GWh, respectively, accounting for 80.4%, 87.2% and 95.3% of the total vehicle volume respectively.

From January to October, a total of 51 power battery enterprises in China's new energy vehicle market realized loading facilities, three fewer than the same period of last year. The loading capacity of power batteries in the top 3, 5 and 10 power battery enterprises was 173.0GWh, 189.2GWh and 211.9GWh, respectively, accounting for 77.1%, 84.4% and 94.5% of the total assembly vehicles. Exports: In October, China's power battery exports totaled 14.7GWh. The export volume of ternary battery is 4.3GWh, and that of lithium iron phosphate battery is 10.3GWh.

Therefore, there is uncertainty in the market expectation of enterprises, which increases the difficulty of making production and operation plans next year. For this reason, the China Automobile Association called for the guidance from the macro level to realize the long-term development goal of steady growth of the automobile market.
